Introduction

Janca Ákos is a Hungarian composer (Janca is his family name), media artist, multi-instrumentalist, graphic software specialist, consultant and teacher. He is graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary.
In addition to composing and performing, he conducts specialized courses and writes on music and graphics, from technical to artistic level.
He teaches at the Electronic Music Free University (EZSZ), which he founded, and also at the MOME OPEN and the PTE Faculty of Music and Visual Arts.
He researches the relationship between sound and vision, interested in 3D sound, timbre, acoustics, psychoacoustics, geometry, mechanics, electronics, computer science. He builds and programs custom software and hardware solutions for his works: graphical audio synthesis, sonification, audiovisual projects, sound design.
Member of Mensa, Utopia Synth Association and Artisjus.
